This is the familiar greeting of "First Observer" trained specialists who serve as the first line of communication for all matters related to this anti-terrorism and security awareness program. Our well trained responders will provide nationwide first responder and law enforcement contact numbers and electronic linkage to registered participants. Reported caller information is entered into a fully secured reporting system that allows for an electronic transfer to the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) for further investigation by industry analysts. The call center may also be utilized during an incident of national significance.
The "First Observer" Call Center is a 24x7 professional operation strategically located in the Team HMS office in Alexandria, VA.
The center's governing principles and commitment to all callers is that call center specialists will:
